ASIA POOL CHALLENGE 2017 – A REAL INTERNATIONAL POOL TOURNAMENT
With 122 players registered originating from 29 different countries in the Asia Pool Challenge 2017 being hosted in Bangkok the tournament has a great international flavour. Below is the list of countries.

APC Bangkok 2017
Asia Pool Challenge 2017 will be hosted by the defending champions – Bangkok.
This will be the second time Bangkok has hosted this event, the last being in 2012 when Bangkok, Jakarta and Shanghai were the only teams participating.
2017 is going to be much larger than the previous Bangkok event with eight Asian cities all wanting to take out the trophy – Bangkok; Jakarta; Shanghai; Singapore; Manilla; Ho Chi Minh City; Phnom Penh & Seoul.

APC MEET & GREET – THURSDAY 31 AUGUST 2017
Venue: HILLARY 2 BAR. Soi 4, Sukhumvit, Bangkok (near Nana Plaza)
Times: Starts at 8 pm and finishes at 11 pm.
APC SUPER SINGLES – TURSDAY 31 AUGUST 2017
Venue: Hustlers Pool & Sports Bar, Times Square (basement), 46 Sukhumvit Road,
Times: Starts at 11 am and finishes at 7.30pm
APC TEAM EVENT – FRIDAY 1 SEPT & SATURDAY 2 SEPT 2017
Venue: The Sportsman Bar & Restaurant, Soi 13. (First floor – upstairs)
Times: Friday starts at 11 am and finishes at 10 pm / Saturday starts at 11 am and finishes at 8.30 pm
BANGKOK HEAT REGAIN THE TROPHY AT APC SAIGON 2016
In a thrilling finish with Jakarta All Stars the defending champions having a 4 frame lead going into the last round the Bangkok Heat showed why they are the benchmark of the competition and scored 15 frames overtaking Jakarta All Stars who only could manage to score 8 frames and their lowest score of any round. Bangkok won be just 3 frames in a nail biting finish. Singapore Stingers finished in third position and continue to improve.
In the SUPER SINGLES it was also an exciting Grand Final with both finalists going hill – hill with 4 frames each. In the final and deciding frames Jon Berille from the Manila Patriots ran the table to secure the title of APC SUPER SINGLES 2016 CHAMPION over defending champion Ruairi McCarroll from the Bangkok Heat. Freddie Soh from the Shanghai Sharks, the 2014 Super Singles Champion finished in third place.
The APC SAIGON 2016 rose again to a new level and this competition continues to grow with new team Seoul Crushers joining who showed that they have some very talented players.

APC SUPER SINGLES 2016 – PLAYERS SCHEDULE
The APC SUPER SINGLES 2016 is being hosted in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam at the EASTIN GRAND Hotel.
The tournament starts at 11.00am on Thursday 1 September 2016 in the Grand Ballroom.
The favorite is the defending Champion Ruairi McCarroll from the Bangkok Heat team. He won the event in 2015 comfortably.
There are some talented challengers in 2016 so he will be tested in what promises to be an exciting event.

THE SEOUL CRUSHERS JOIN APC 2016
A new team from Seoul, South Korea will be entering the Asia Pool Challenge in 2016 being hosted in Ho Chi Minh City this September.
Paul Riddle is the Team Organizer and is very keen to show off the talents of the Itaewon Pool League which has 22 teams in their 2016 opening season.
SEOUL CRUSHERS is a an aggressive name and it will certainly be intriguing to see them in action at APC Saigon 2016
APC now has eight Asian cities participating in this competition.
